Because there's not much work to be done really but getting it done seems to be taking longer than it should. Also, you might want to throw in a few links to the wikipedia entry on Tanabata: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanabata to help clear that up in case someone stumbles across the post and wonders what the feck you're talking about.
